Funding Opportunities Funding Opportunities

At ITPR, we empower our research community by providing them with the necessary resources to carry out excellent research that aligns with the University’s mission to create a positive impact on society. We support our researchers to bring their ideas to life and scale the impact of their work through various funding opportunities from the Government, foundations, organisations and industrial or commercial sectors. Here, you may find some of the key external funding schemes coordinated by us to support your work.

In order to promote commercialisation of research and development (R&D) outcomes, the Government will launch the Research, Academic and Industry Sectors One-plus Scheme (RAISe+ Scheme) in 2023. ITPR is coordinating the scheme’s application from HKBU and would render support to the appropriate teams.
