Seminar on Applications of Smart Health Monitoring Technologies among Chinese Medicine

HKBU took part in the Seminar on Applications of Smart Health Monitoring Technologies among Chinese Medicine, organized by Hong Kong Productivity Council with an aim to strengthen the knowledge of Chinese medicine (CM) practitioners and related professionals on the latest achievements and trends of smart health technologies.

Prof. Bian Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President (Chinese Medicine Development) of HKBU delivered a welcome speech on the trend and development of smart solutions in CM. Prof. Terence Lau, Interim Chief Innovation Officer, Honorary Professor of School of Chinese Medicine gave a sharing on the topic of Innovation and Opportunities on the Development of Smart CM. He introduced how smart technologies like artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and much more can be applied in diagnosis, treatment as well as new medicine exploration, for Chinese medicine and service revolutionary development.
