Funding Opportunities Funding Opportunities

At ITPR, we empower our research community by providing them with the necessary resources to carry out excellent research that aligns with the University’s mission to create a positive impact on society. We support our researchers to bring their ideas to life and scale the impact of their work through various funding opportunities from the Government, foundations, organisations and industrial or commercial sectors. Here, you may find some of the key external funding schemes coordinated by us to support your work.

Launched in October 2023, the Government has introduced the Research, Academic and Industry Sectors One-plus Scheme (RAISe+ Scheme). It aims to unleash potential of local universities in transformation and commercialisation of R&D outcomes, and facilitate relevant collaboration among the Government, industries, universities, and research sectors. Each successful team will receive HKD$10M to $100M according to the matching they secured.
