HKBU representatives attends the 46th Session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission for food safety exchange

HKBU Interim Chief Innovation Officer Prof. Terence Lau and ITPR Assistant Director (Strategic Alliance and Promotion) Nelly Lam participated in the 46th Session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC46) in Rome earlier December for food safety and quality discussion with professionals and experts around the globe.
The Codex Alimentarius Commission (Codex), celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, was jointly created by the Food and Agriculture Organization (#FAO) and the World Health Organization (#WHO) of the United Nations with over 200 observers and 189 members. It promotes international food standards development, protecting consumer health, and removing barriers to trade.
